Superstitions-a major problem of developing education

Superstitions is an unscientific belief.Every society is bundle of superstitious beliefs.Such Belief are traditional so many people follow them blindly.Superstitious beliefs are all over the world..Even educated people fall vi ctim of them.European people take number thirteen as evil omen which is the badluck sign or unhappy accident. So all European try to avoid the association of that number.Likewise Nepalese people take number eight and twelve as a sign of bad luck..our Society also isnot immune to supersitition. Some superstitious behaviour are postponed thier journey when they see an empty vessel or when a cat crosses their way.in addition to it some people say that aonless parents are not entitled to enjoy the heavenly happiness after death.Such people are hindrance for the development of our society. but it is very difficult to change their set beliefs..it is possible only if they recieve education,Therefore , it is neccessasary to provide education widely in every part of the country. Government should invest on this field with priority.
